Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is a comedian and actor well-known for her dry sense of humor. She appears as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. She made her debut in the Jeannie Tate Show the web-based series, after performing sketch comedy and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Following her first appearance, Tate went on and made appearances as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's vs. World. We should celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the child of Bernadette Plaza who is an attorney by profession and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her mother is Irish, English and Irish and her father was Puerto Rican. Plaza has received her education at an all-girls Catholic school in 2002 and the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University in 2006. In high school she was President of the Wilmington Drama League and her student government at her school. Plaza was struck by stroke in her sophomore year at college. It left her with an expressive aphasia aswell being paralyzed. She is now fully recovered. Since 2004 Plaza is performing sketches and improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two venues in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed stand-up comedy. Plaza was as a guest on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show in the part of Robin Gibney and was also featured as Ben Schwartz, as well as appearing as Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. Troopers was a satirical scifi show that aired on CollegeHumor in which she played the role of Princess. Plaza first played saxophones in Cassorla s Bona Fide (2014). In 2012, she made her first appearance on the saxophone during Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings. HarmonQuest In 2016, HarmonQuest was a show that featured Plaza in the role of Hawaiian Coffee. The that same year she also played Aaron Burr on Drunk History and Cat Adams during Season 11 C.B.S. show on television Criminal Minds. The actress made an impressive comeback as the character in Season 12. A year later it was revealed that Plaza would appear in the comedy indie An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
